Painting the Desert by Wilton McCoy Like New Condition
“Great artists and art students of the past centuries have writen everything possible about techniques, compositions, values ,etc. of all phases of art. I believe each artist working and experimenting through the years may discover something on his own that might be original. Perhaps students purchasing my book ma not find time for library research and will benefit from my few remarks.
I had very good teachers in landscapes, seascapes, portraits, still life, charcoal life and sculptures, but you must work hard, paint and practice with many disappointments before you develop a technique. Study with the best art teachers available. Don’t be too eager to sell or exhibit your work in galleries; if you do the public will recognize your name as a poor artist and this will be very difficult to overcome. Good sketching! Wilton McCoy
